COVID Safety Measures
The health and safety of our guests and staff are of paramount importance. USSD will follow all current restrictions in place by the City and County of San Diego and the State of California.
While COVID numbers continue to decline and restrictions loosening, USSD urges you to take any necessary precautions to protect your health including vaccinations and mask wearing. San Diego currently has restrictions on mega events (5,000 indoors/10,000 outdoors) of which the USSD conference is not. By attending the USSD conference and related events you assume all liability should you contact COVID or any illness prior to, during, or after the event.
SAN DIEGO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS (UPDATED 2.15.22):
The Town and Country follows all San Diego mandated COVID requirements. These include:
- Under the State of California Guidelines, beginning 2/16/22, fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear a mask indoors. Unvaccinated guests will be required to continue wearing a mask indoors.
- San Diego does not currently require proof of vaccination for dining, bars or other indoor venues. An individual business may opt to require this, however, this is not a county regulation.
- Events of 1,000+ attendees are required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test within the previous 24-hours.(USSD expects an attendance of under 1,000).

USSD will provide individual bottles of sanitizer and have disinfecting wipes in all meeting rooms and at podiums.
Should any of our attendees feel ill during the conference, they should immediately get a PRC or Antigen COVID test and report this to conference hotel security so that the required notifications can be made.
