The purpose of the International Symposium on Dam Safety is to promote discussion and knowledge exchange for Dam Safety professionals across the globe for the purpose of advancing the field and ensuring the safety of dams globally. The program will touch on state-of-the-art concepts, methods, and technologies related to dam safety.
The event is being developed through the collaboration of the United States Society on Dams (USSD), Spanish National Committee on Large Dams (SPANCOLD), Brazilian Dam Committee (CBDB), and Chinese National Committee on Large Dams (CHINCOLD).
